Hosting Agreement

Note on Billing: Charges for these services will appear on your statement under Gen X Web Design LLC.

No Long-Term Contracts: Monthly and yearly plans operate on a recurring renewal basis with no long-term lock-in contracts; service may be canceled prior to the next billing cycle. Lifetime plans are a single, non-recurring purchase.

This Hosting Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Michael Bloomingdale, operating under the business entity Gen X Web Design (“Provider”) and the individual or entity (“Client”) purchasing or utilizing hosting services through MichaelsFreeSites.com. By purchasing or using our hosting services, Client agrees to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. Services & Billing Tiers

Provider offers WordPress-optimized hosting infrastructure, including global CDN, automated malware protection, SSL certificates, and unlimited bandwidth, subject to the server capacity limits outlined in Section 2. Clients may select from three billing structures, and prices may vary depending on special offers applied:

Monthly Plan: Regularly billed at $14.99 per month.
Yearly Plan: Regularly billed at $140 per year.
Lifetime Plan: A one-time payment of $499 granting hosting access for the active lifetime of the website.

2. Resource Limitations

To maintain high performance across our infrastructure, standard hosting accounts are subject to the following technical ceilings:

Maximum Site Storage: 2.2 GB
Maximum File Count: 45,000 files

3. Prohibited Content & Use

Provider maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for specific industries and activities. Client sites may not be used to host, promote, or link to any of the following:

Adult Content: Pornography, explicit media, or adult-oriented services.

Medical / Clinical Services: Regulated medical practices, diagnostic services, or unauthorized medical claims. (Note: General wellness or educational content is permitted, but clinical or regulated medical sites are strictly prohibited).

Firearms & Weapons: Sales, manufacturing, or distribution of firearms, ammunition, or restricted weaponry.

Illegal Activities: Any content, product, or service that violates local, state, federal, or international law.

Hosting accounts found violating these restrictions will be suspended immediately without refund.

4. Scope of Maintenance & Updates

For accounts utilizing our maintenance schedule, Provider will log in every 90 days to safely execute core, theme, and plugin updates to protect site integrity and security.

Limitation: This maintenance strictly covers backend infrastructure, security patches, and software updates. It does not include content creation, copywriting, graphic design, media editing, or page layout modifications.

5. Termination & Cancellation

Client may cancel monthly or yearly subscription services at any time by notifying Provider or managing account settings. Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate hosting services immediately if a client violates the prohibited content terms or disrupts server performance.
